CROWN RECEIVES ROBERTS COUNTY NATIONAL BANK SCHOLARSHIP
The Roberts County National Bank of Sisseton is pleased to announce that the recipient of the $1,000 Roberts County National Bank/South Dakota Bankers Foundation Scholarship is Logan Crown of Corona, SD.
Logan is the son of Dianna and Todd Sprung of Corona, and Darryl and Sandy Crown, Rapid City, SD. He plans on attending Northern State University in Aberdeen to study criminal justice and sociology. Logan completed US Army Reserve basic training in 2012, and will complete AIT this summer at Fort Lee, VA. On completion of college, Logan’s goal is to become an officer with the South Dakota State Highway Patrol. Through high school, Logan participated in chorus and concert choir, concert and pep band, Improv, Oral Interpretation and Drama Club.
“We are proud of Logan’s academic achievements and participation in activities at Sisseton High School and his service to our country in the U.S. Army Reserve. Logan serves as a positive role model for others. He brings great credit to his family, school and community,” stated John S. Rasmussen, CEO of Roberts County National Bank.

Notice Of Expiration of the Temporary Full FDIC Insurance Coverage For Non Interest-Bearing Transaction Accounts
By operation of federal law, beginning January 1, 2013, funds deposited in a non interest-bearing transaction account (including an Interest on Lawyer Trust Account) no longer will receive unlimited deposit insurance coverage by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Beginning January 1, 2013, all of a depositor's accounts at an insured depository institution, including all non interest-bearing transaction accounts, will be insured by the FDIC up to the standard maxiumum deposit insurance amount ($250,000), for each deposit insurance ownership category.
